Traveling in Fiji
Fiji is an easy place to travel in as the weather is
warm and generally mild due to the stability created
by the large expanse of sea that surrounds it.  There
is no malaria in Fiji and no shots are needed to
travel here.  You receive your travel visa when you come
into the country so the only arrangement needed prior to
your arrival is a plane ticket.

English is the official language of Fiji.  Traditional dress in
the villages expects that women cover their shoulders and
knees, men wear shirts and longer shorts, and hats and
sunglasses are considered rude.  Both men and women
wear "sulu's", the traditional wrap-around sarong.

Fiji is a very travel friendly place for children and
families, and because most islands have a barrier
reef, most beaches have few waves making it safe for
young children to play in the water.  The Fijian
people love children and are always very welcoming to
kids.
